Song lyrics

The World Is a Scary Place

Be brave, Raoul, I know the world is a scary place for you.
Be calm, be cool, for there’s a mission that only you can do.
If you follow your heart, courage will break through!

Have faith, my child, when something’s lost and you haven’t got a clue.
That cat has snatched the one we love, so your rescue must begin.
If you’re nimble and wise, in spite of your size, you’ll win!

Awakened from dreams, all of you screamed
when ruthless TomCat attacked!
You skiddle skedaddled and hid in the cracks
while BabySis snoozed in her sack.

With big hungry eyes TomCat snaffled his prize
and dashed to his barn far away.
Mother and Father say you must be brave!
Be brave and save the day!

I know the world is a scary place for you.
But it’s a mission that only you can do.

‘Twas a dangerous mission with fierce opposition,
fast moving cars and an owl.
Through a dark tunnel, a bright field of yellow
and to the Old Barn at last.

Now TomCat has trapped you, He’s ready to munch.
You must find a way to break free.
Mother and Father say you must be brave!
Be brave and save the day!

I know the world is a scary place for you.
But it’s a mission that only you can do.
You must follow your heart,
be nimble and wise!

When darkness falls, open your mind and you will see.
You will find a way to overcome this enemy.
The time is now to dig down deep and be free!

Be brave, Raoul, I know the world is a scary place for you.
Be calm, be cool, for there’s a mission that only you can do.
Follow your heart! Your courage will break through!
